All scientific theories are only provisional, current only until something better comes along. This usually happens when an observation is reported that can't be explained by the existing theory. However, any new theory must still explain everything that the existing theory does, as well as any new observations. In addition, scientific theories should fit in with existing science in related areas of science.

Pseudo-science

Much work that is produced in the realm of theoretical science appears to be outside of the standard scientific channels. These may or may not be considered pseudo-science. So the National Science Foundation sought to define the difference between the theoretical in science and the theoretical in the paranormal by identifying ten subjects, including haunted houses. According to their conclusions, belief in these subjects is constituted as pseudo-scientific. The categorizing of these subjects as pseudo-science was meant to dismiss the concept of earthbound entities while embracing alien life possibilities. There is a phenomenon that exists right here on earth of some sort of, yet unknown, life form that may be well documented, but because of the label pseudo-science, the technical professionals and funding that are needed to further the research are virtually non-existent. This leaves serious researchers little to no alternative but to cater to the public's current fascination with the paranormal. Giving tours of haunted houses or midnight walks through cemeteries has nothing to do with actual research, but are necessary to generate the funds required for specialized equipment and staffing. The stigma of being labeled a pseudoscience incites the subject of ghosts and the paranormal as a topic of humor. And unfortunately, there are a lot of frauds, and the falsifying of data for the purpose of notoriety. This also includes the effort to promote that not-so-haunted, overpriced hotel room in the middle of nowhere. Most paranormal researchers believe in legitimate research with real results. We can prove paranormal activity, but we can't prove that ghosts exist. I believe that, through the efforts of paranormal theorists like myself and ongoing research, we will.
Dimensional Impedance, and Frequency Distortion

I was asked a question on what I thought could cause the distortion in the response of one entity verses another, and about the possibility of a dimensional presents. So I started exploring energy as particles, and looked for answers. I found something interesting in dimensional quantum mechanics: The distortion in the frequency could be caused by the substance between the dimensions known as a resonant, or quantum barrier. Some physicists theorize that if you could vibrate at the same frequency that separates the dimensions you could transcend the dimensions themselves. Your question on why some entities come across differently then others shouldn't have anything to do with how they died. I don't believe in hell, but the mind dictates your perception of the world around you. If we are basing our understanding of mind as energy then that same perception of our surrounding that work here should work else where. In medical research it is well known that most illnesses are psychosomatic, psychological, and behavioral factors can cause the manifestation of physical illnesses, and disabilities. I stated in the book "The sum of my existence I owe to the experiences of my last day of life." The physical being ends all that's left is mind. The explanation could be the location of the source. Since we are dealing with non-physical beings the source could be the difference in Earth bound entities, or entities that have passed possibly to another dimension. The impedance between the dimensions would disrupt the electromagnetic waves passing between them allowing only particles that are in tune with the vibrations of the variance between dimensions to make it through causing the distortion. I know this is a very technical explanation, but it had to be to explain the dimensional aspect of your question. There are much simpler explanations such as a defect in the device itself to solar flare activity? Unfortunately I wasn't present during the demonstration.
Dimensional Theory

After our three-dimensional shell decays, what is left is Conscious Energy. We are comprised of matter and energy, and as energy, our consciousness could pass from this three-dimensional world into a 4th dimensional existence.
What is a 4th Dimensional Being
A four-dimensional entity can see across infinite three-dimensional plains of space in a four-dimensional world. A four-dimensional entity would be spread across multiple adjacent three-dimensional planes of space. A four-dimensional entity could be taking up the exact space you are in. In the four-dimensional world, the four-dimensional entity could see you by looking across the multiple three-dimensional planes of space to the one you’re in. If you could moved past the four-dimensional entity in your three-dimensional space, it would constantly change shape. If the four-dimensional entity passes through your three-dimensional space you would only be able to see a three-dimensional cross section that would constantly change shape until it completely vanished. A four-dimensional entity can see all sides of a three-dimensional object at once. A three-dimensional object can generate two-dimensional shadows on two-dimensional surfaces. A four-dimensional entity can generate three-dimensional shadows on three-dimensional perimeters.
If our consciousness can transcend the dimensions, then what we are observing could be nothing more than shadows of a 4th dimensional existence, and would explain activity in places like cemeteries. My team CGC® has worked on ways to validate this theory. In our dimensional experiment we would be setting up multiple simultaneous experiments. The focus would be on conducting an EVP session of a deceased individual at multiple locations in the individuals life: where they died, where they lived, where they was laid to rest. Each team would be given a list of identical questions. Each question would be asked simultaneously at a predetermined time.
Dimensional Theory Experiment
When ever you plan an experiment like this every question is scrutinized to eliminate contamination. Remember your results shapes your theory which leads to new theories. That's how science works.

In my book I credit Shadow Art for my insight into 4th dimensional theory that a non-descript object can project a recognizable silhouette of what can be mistaken as us. (4th dimensional Theory) Energy should be able to pass through the dimensions. The 4th dimension over laps the 3rd if a 3 dimensional being can cast a 2 dimensional shadow then a 4th dimensional being can cast a 3 dimensional shadow. If a 3 dimensional shadow of a 4th dimensional being passed through our 3 dimensional plain of existence. The appearance would seem to fade in and out as it passes through solid structures, only to dissipate as it crosses between our 3 dimensional perimeters.

Animal Sensitivity to the Paranormal

The research I've done on our common household pets, and their sensitivity to paranormal activity. The dog for instance are dichromats, and have color vision equivalent to red-green color blindness. Dogs have very large pupils, a high density of rods in the fovea, an increased flicker rate, and a tapetum lucidum an adaptation toward superior night vision. Dogs can detect a change in movement that exists in a single diopter of space within their eye. (humans require a change of between 10-20 diopters.) Comparatively dogs can detect movement that is up to 20 times subtler than a human. The frequency range of dog hearing is approximately 40 Hz to 60,000 Hz, which means that dogs can detect sounds far beyond the upper limit of the human auditory spectrum. Additionally, dogs have ear mobility which allows them to rapidly pinpoint the exact location of a sound. Eighteen or more muscles can tilt, rotate, raise, or lower a dog's ear. A dog can identify a sound's location much faster than a human can, as well as hear sounds at four times the distance. So in conclusion man's best friend your household pet would be more likely to sense the presence of a entity before it's human owner could. I've seen dogs growl, and bark themselves into a corner. While others lunge at the air, as their owners struggle with their pet unaware of what's going on. The owner will try unsuccessfully to coax the dog forward, finally giving in to the terrified animal, and leaving the area. It's unlikely that the Dog is able to see the entity. The animals advanced visual acuity would only pick up on subtle movement at a given moment. Instead hearing the entity would alert the Dog. Rushing into a room only to stare into the darkness both eyes, and ears fixed on an unseen intruder. Only to back out of the room frightened by what was heard, but unseen.
Diopter Theory

When I look at images like this. The entity moves through the environment caught only by the camera. Even the human being present seemed unaware that the event too place. The rods in the human eye react to motion only when there is enough stimulus. A human being from their mid 20's to their mid 40's would require a change in space of 10-20 diopters to detect movement. Children between 3 to maturity can sense a change in space within 5 diopters. While Dog's only need a change in a single diopter of space within their eye for the average middle age human being movement below 10 diopters would go on unnoticed. The CCTV camera used to capture this entity used a single purpose fixed focus +2 to -6. diopter 27mm lens. Older adults over the age of 50 are excluded do to macular degeneration of the retina requiring vision correction. (Work In Progress)
Structural Cohesion Theory (Entities Strength)

Conscious Energy Theory states that the entity is the electromagnetic pattern of a once living human being, and is the bases upon how the entity can use it's electromagnetic properties to manipulate it's environment. The strength of the entity is in the structural cohesion, or binding of it's pattern. The denser the electromagnetic pattern the stronger the entity, and the greater the activity. To inhibit the electromagnetic binding, or cohesiveness of the pattern ends the haunt. This can be done in many ways. 1. Enhancing the ground: This would create barriers but would not end the haunt. 2. Low level electromagnetic pulse: This would degrade the entities electromagnetic pattern without structural cohesion within the pattern the entity ceases to exist. A strong enough pulse would rid any imprinted objects of the pattern, ending the haunt.
Sunlight generally and in the most basic of terms has a scattering effect on electromagnetic waves. So the structural cohesiveness. or electromagnetic binding of the entities pattern would be weaken during the day. Denser structures that are shielded from the effects of the sun such as lower levels sub-structures, a basement for instance. Would also explain why activity is predominantly greater in such locations. Seasonal, and atmospheric changes can all aid in the strength of the entity. In the early morning an hour just before dawn, and late afternoon as the radiation from the Sun is slowly diffuse. The lowest point in this cycle is between 2 to 4 AM which could answer the question of why activity is stronger at night then during the day.
Acoustical Energy Theory

The theory states that disembodied voices are the result of manipulation of the electromagnetic spectrum, thus transmitting its low electromagnetic frequencies through a solid surface to produce acoustical or audible sound.

The entire surface becomes a speaker delivering high-quality sound.This technology that incorporates a similar concept. In many investigations, the entity had to be standing on top of me for the recording device to pick up the very low sound frequency that the entity was producing. I believe the entity was deflecting its Acoustical Energy off the device itself. The human voice is capable of various frequencies between 300 Hz and 3000 Hz. Any voice recorded below or above this range could not be created by human vocal chords, and would be a valid Electronic Voice Phenomena. As human beings we learn to speak at an early age it is an ingrained part of our conscious self. Our conscious self projects the sound of our voice. It is the manipulation of electromagnetic frequencies that is the essence of our consciousness which in turn reproduces patterns of audible sound by resonating nearby objects converting the electromagnetic frequencies into acoustical energy commonly known as a disembodied voice. In my original theory I held that the Acoustical Energy created in this manner could produce sound that would envelop the area in which it was being generated. This was known as Omni-Sound Theory, meaning that the sound being generated would come from all directions simultaneously.
Testing This Theory
I used the Zoom H2 360 degree recorder with 2 front left, and right channels, and 2 rear left, and right channels, I was able to show, from the sound levels on each channel, the direction and linear path of the disembodied voice, thus disproving my original theory that the acoustical sound being generated was omni-directional. It could be that the electromagnetic frequencies are being targeted, generating acoustical sound as it impacts at or near its intended target.
Conscious Energy Theory

There has been a growing interest in the concept of the mind as a conscious form of energy. Parapsychologists have long since studied physical energy and how it can be triggered by thought. Laboratory tests demonstrate that a weak coupling between physical energy and a sort of human "magnetic field" around the body that can move or influence objects. The research of Dr. Celia Green of the Institute of Psychophysical Research found that 12% of single (OBE) cases occurred during sleep, 32% when unconscious, and 25% were associated with some kind of psychological stress, such as worry, extreme fatigue, or fear. Such as the extreme fear that would accompany physical trauma. (i.e. Death)
In 1968 Dr. Green published an analysis of 400 first-hand accounts of out-of-body experiences. This represented the first attempt to provide taxonomy of such experiences once viewed as simply anomalous perceptual experiences, or hallucinations.
In this theory we are focusing specifically on the kind of energy that is associated with consciousness, our brains higher-level biophysical energy. In the case of out-of-body experiences, the consciousness seems to depart the body for brief periods, enabling observation of the world from a point of view other than that of the ones own physical body. This usually occurs under trauma, or extreme stress. For example, when one’s heart stops beating momentarily, the shock of the event could cause an out-of-body experience. You could be a witness to your own death, or you could be falling from a great height, realizing that death is imminent. At the moment of death, the link is broken. Without a host to feed your consciousness, you would be drawn to other energy sources.
Conscious Energy would be strongly attracted to you because of its familiarity with the human life force or physical energy. Our bodies naturally produce a subtle magnetic field, so it would only be practical to assume that conscious energy would be drawn to a familiar source. There are naturally occurring minerals that also produce magnetic fields. High concentrations of these minerals have been cited as the cause of a recurring form of conscious energy known as a Residual Haunt. An artificially produced magnetic field, such as an open circuit with a flow of electrons, could explain why batteries drain in active locations. The entity that is created by use of this method is nothing more than an electromagnetic pattern, a snapshot of our higher level consciousness at the point of death. So, therefore, it is not capable of learning beyond the time of its creation. It carries on as a remnant of a once-living human being. It is limited in its knowledge to the era in which it lived.
The Bodies Bio-electrical Energy

The heart is an electrical organ producing by far the largest amount of electrical energy in our bodies forty to sixty times as much power as the second strongest source, the brain. This energy permeates every single cell in our bodies. The signal is so strong that it creates an electromagnetic field that surrounds the body in 360 degrees and can actually be measured up to three to four feet outside the body. That’s right, the electrical energy produced by the heart radiates outside the body into space. The heart’s field is not static. It changes, depending on what we are feeling. For example, when we are feeling emotions like anger or frustration, the frequencies in the field become chaotic and disordered. On the other hand when we are experiencing emotions like compassion, care, appreciation or love, the frequencies in the field becomes more ordered and coherent. In a sense, through the electromagnetic field created by the heart we are literally broadcasting our emotions like radio waves.
Energy Based Life-forms
There are theories of non-physical life forms based entirely on energy. Physicists at Cuza University in Romania were the first to create a new life form from gaseous plasma. These are "cells" with a boundary made up of two layers - an outer layer of negatively charged electrons and an inner layer of positively charged ions. Trapped inside the boundary they discovered an inner nucleus of gas atoms. These "cells" met criteria for life: the ability to replicate, to communicate information, and to metabolize and grow. They could not be considered alive because of lack of inherited material. However, this discovery may hint at a drastic re-think of what is necessary for life, and opens the door on the possibility of other forms of life far beyond what had previously been accepted.
Shared Consciousness

For the entity as described in Conscious Energy Theory to exist, it would have to be reduced to a kind of parasite, feeding off our life-force and sharing our physical experiences. In some cases, this becomes a symbiotic relationship and, in other cases, individuals may experience negative reactions such as physical weakness, dominating and violent outbursts, prolonged illnesses, and wild mood swings, resulting in psychosis. This psychosis may be shared by anyone in the room, as the entity attaches itself to any vulnerable human host. The shared consciousness with a weakened human host can cause the dominating consciousness of the entity to force control over the behavior and physical being. This is generally misinterpreted as a possession.
In a symbiotic connection with both human consciousness and conscious energy, the human and entity co-exist, allowing the individual to tap into a type of shared consciousness, giving them psychic abilities, also known as second sight. In one case, I met with a woman that had proven psychic abilities since birth. She showed me a photograph taken by a method called Kirlian electro-photography, which uses an instrument with a high voltage glass electrode to create a pulsed electrical field around the human participant. Some people claim that this is a photograph of the human aura. I believe the generally accepted consensus, that the high voltage affects the film, causing the glow or corona effect.
Viewing an image produced by this method, I noticed something unusual in one particular photograph. What is normally seen in these electro-photonic images is a variation in the colorful glow surrounding and enveloping the participants, but in this case one of the images showed three anomalies that were attached around her head. The psychic claimed to have spirit guides that remained with her always and spoke to her. To me, this appeared as if the entities that had attached to her since birth had formed a symbiotic bond that linked her consciousness to the entities? conscious energy, thus allowing her the ability to connect to what has been described as a part of the spectrum of human consciousness known as super-consciousness.
Imprinting Theory

Earlier Imprinting theories encompassed personal objects, belonging to a once- living human being, attaching their life-force to the object known as a Residual Haunt. In most cases the human being imprinted their life-force by repeating a routine over and over for years on end. We once thought that Residual Haunts were caused when the imprinter died, and the activity continued. What we eventually learned is that trauma can be imprinted in different ways, and there is no need for a death. There is a Residual Haunt in which trauma is imprinted by the victims. In one particular case, children were being abused. The children's fear played out over and over again in the haunt. The owner of the residence knew the family, and they are all very much alive. Conscious energy theory tells us that an entity is nothing more than an electromagnetic pattern; it wouldn't be unreasonable to believe that the pattern could be imprinted on any material that can sustain it. The structure itself can be constructed of a variety of materials, man-made or otherwise, that contain minerals.
The ground the structure is built on can contain deposits of minerals that will sustain the pattern. All that is needed is a good charge to replay the event or resurrect the pattern that is the conscious energy of the entity. Most paranormal researchers believe that this is why during an electrical storm, when the atmosphere is charged, reports of paranormal activity increase. This also means that doing away with the haunt is much more difficult, since any old patterns that have been imprinted throughout the location can be resurrected. Besides electrical storms, a variety of common human activity can resurrect the patterns.
Construction is commonly reported as the cause of new or increased activity. It's not so much that the entity likes or dislikes what you are doing. In this case, it's the powerful tools and equipment being used which send spikes of EMF through a once-dormant location thus resurrecting the patterns. Another form of imprinting is caused by death itself. When a body dies, the life force energy begins to dissipate, leaving its pattern on that spot. It's similar to a Residual Haunt, except there is nothing being played out. All that is left behind is the static image of a once living human being at the time of death.
Bio-electrical Finger Print - Imprinting Theory
There is this fine line yet to be explored in understanding this category of haunt. That's one of the reasons behind my interest in investigating roadside memorials. Imprinting as in residual activity, ownership, or bonding to an object like a Doll. If someone died in an accident, and then was laid out on the side of the road would they leave a bio-electrical finger print on that spot as the body dissipates? The trauma itself would of already occurred in the vehicle at the instance of the fatality. So we're not really looking for a Ghost, but maybe another category of imprinting, or different type of residual haunt? I believe it's a completely new category of haunt a type of bio-electrical image that could exist. I'm not sure on what wavelength you would capture an image like that, so I never really pursued it, but it's always been in the back of my mind. Obviously this needs a working hypothesis. An extension of the imprinting theories, or maybe a completely new theory. I found technology that can be adapted that would answer a lot of my questions, but it needs more thought. It would be interesting to see if you would pickup anything with an EVP at such a spot. This leads me to explore a new category imprinting the biophysical death.
Porcelain Doll

The 19th century porcelain doll. Not only are they the creepiest things ever, but the paint on them are high in led, and mercury. The horse hair originally used on the heads of the Doll was replaced with human hair because it was softer. In the late 1840s the popularity of this Doll peaked with millions being sold. This would been a child's most cherished possession. The materials in the object, led for instance would lend itself to storing the bio-electrical pattern of the possessor. I've always have been fascinated by residual, or object possession. CGC has studied personal objects to see if the once living human being that owned it imprinted their bio-electrical pattern on the object? One object stands out in particular was a book published in the 1860's of the collective works of Charles Dickens. When we charged it with an ionizer, and asked who owned this book? We recorded an EVP in a female voice "It's Haunted." I've charged other objects on the hunt for a residual that moves. Such as the stories of a haunted porcelain Doll where the head, and arms move as if it's still being played with.
