Investigations
We follow strict scientific methods of research looking for logical explanations for the activity, and we make every effort to remain objective to your needs. Serving Northern California, and now expanding our investigations into North-West Nevada. All client information is kept strictly confidential. There is no FEE, or charge for services rendered. Most cases submitted are accepted, but we reserve the right to refuse service.
Q: What are Scientific Methods of Research
A: Electronic devices only. We use Audio, Video, and Data Logging Equipment of all types. We do not use psychics, or mediums. Solid Evidence: If you see it, or hear it. We should be able to catch it on our equipment.
Q: How long does an investigation take?
A: Investigations can take 4 hours, or longer depending on size level, and type of activity being reported. Sometimes it may be necessary to conduct more then one investigation.
Q: Can you "get rid of" my Ghost?
A: We can try, depending on the type of haunt. In our investigation we look for "natural" causes for the events you are experiencing and suggest ways to fix these problems if we determine that spirit activity exist. We can perform a blessing, or cleansing of the home. We can also bring in specialists, such as experienced demonologists, but no one can guarantee the removal of paranormal phenomena.
Q: Do I get a copy of the evidence?
A: Video and Audio evidence review takes hundreds of hours depending on the size of the location.
If enough evidence of paranormal activity is captured a DVD set like the one shown above will be provided FREE of charge during the reveal.
Q: How long can the analysis take?
A: Normally the analysis of all the Video, and Audio collected should take no more than 3 to 4 weeks depending on the size of the location. If extensive research is needed it could take months. We would be in constant contact as your investigation progressed.
The Reality of Paranormal Reality Shows
People that have seen shows like Ghost Hunters, and Ghost Adventures don't realize that filming a 40 minute show where it looks like they investigated over night, in reality took a film crew following your favorite investigator around on location an average of 10 days. They stay in wardrobe wearing identical clothing during the filming, so in editing they match throughout the show.
Real paranormal investigations are usually limited to four, or five hours over the duration of a single night. Rarely are we ever allowed to investigate a location longer than one night. Regardless of how much we would want too! CGC is very thorough in our analysis of the evidence. Even though capturing activity of any kind since we never know when or where it may occur is rare. We've over the years developed new methods of research, and have the capacity to deploy upwards of 15 cameras, and even more voice recorders to narrow the odds of finding something? Then again there have been investigations that produced no activity at all, or very subtle activity during the length of the investigation.
CGC wants you to know that activity you may have seen on reality paranormal shows are not entirely real, and the quality of the activity during the single night can change in intensity in the days to come. If the activity you're experiencing wasn't real. We wouldn't be doing the research, and you wouldn't be inviting us into your home. We wanted to make sure that your expectations are not based on what you may of seen on some paranormal reality TV shows.
